Pico

The mountain is born from the sea and grows up to exceeding the clouds. In turn the blue of the sky and of the water, the green stains of the islands that its height dominates.
So, it is Pico, volcanic cone that the hand of the man turned into vineyards and orchards bursting between the black lava... Geographical Token: Being developed around the volcano, with 2351 meters of altitude, which gives the name to it, the island of Pico has an oblong shape of 42 Km of length and 15,2’ of width. The total surface is of 447 Km2. A tableland with secondary volcanic cones ends next to the sea in high cliffs while the lowest area, west, has moderate slopes. It is situated at 28º 20’ of western longitude and at 38º 30’ of northern latitude.

Faial

The scenic bay where it spreads the white houses of the city. The gentle undulate of the hills that slowly climb till almost touch the clouds. Corvo

It is the smallest island of the Azores where cosy white houses are bunched together and form the only village with the same name as the island. In the middle of the island there is a broad crater with two beautiful lakes in the centre of it.
